Ingrid Halland (b. 1988) is a Research Fellow in Art History at the University of Oslo. After she graduated in 2012 with a master’s degree in both art history and museology she worked two years as a curator and art consultant before she joined the Back to the Sustainable Future research project in late 2014. Her research interests include cybernetics, ontology, technology, postmodernism, political ecology, post-structuralism, speculative realism, and exhibition theory. From 2016 to 2017 she is a Visiting Scholar at Columbia University, Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation in New York City.
Her PhD thesis “Error Earth: Displaying Deep Cybernetics in ‘The Universitas Project’ and Italy: The New Domestic Landscape, 1972” will be submitted late 2017.
