Malin Kristine Graesse is a MA-student in Art History at the University of Oslo. She has a bachelor’s degree in Art Science from the University of Tromsø with a minor in philosophy. She previously studied Law, and has worked as a gallery assistant next to her studies. She is associated with the Back to the Sustainable Future research project through the work on her MA-thesis in design history. The research on her thesis is concerned with how deep-ecology can find similarities within the field of design thinking – drawing a connection between designer and thinker William Morris, philosopher Arne Næss, and Norwegian designer Sigrun Berg.
